"One, Two, Three (ii)"
Artwork Details:
Dimensions: 125 cm W x 202 cm H
Materials: Mixed media (Acrylic, Oil Paint, Spray Paint, Oil Pastels, Oil Sticks, Ink, Pencil and Enamel Paint) on Canvas
Brief Description: One, Two, Three (ii) was born from the raw aftermath of completing a large, mentally demanding canvas. Painted instinctively, it channels the feeling of a beast gnawing at the back of the artist’s mind, a restless inner presence pushing against the boundaries of social norms and acceptance. The six red circles on the upper left suggest both a mental release valve and the playful memory of toy gun caps from childhood, sparking innocence amid intensity. Behind them, a redacted face stands in for the elusive “norm,” while drips and instinctive color strokes embody Pigsy’s visceral, cleansing process. One of five works in this series, this piece embodies the artist’s ethos: confronting inner monologues head-on with unapologetic rawness and color.
