PIGSY Featured in PIÑA 2025 at La Casa Amarilla

PIÑA 2025, the annual group exhibition at La Casa Amarilla (LCAmálaga), returns with another vibrant celebration of contemporary art in Málaga. Featuring more than 40 artists across a wide range of disciplines, the exhibition showcases the depth and diversity of today’s creative scene. I’m proud to share that PIGSY has been included once again, exhibiting one painting as part of this energetic collective showcase.

What Is PIÑA 2025?

PIÑA is La Casa Amarilla’s yearly group show, curated to bring together an exciting mix of artistic voices—abstract painters, figurative artists, mixed-media creators, conceptual experimenters, and everything in between.

Known for its inclusive approach and playful spirit, PIÑA offers visitors an accessible entry point into contemporary art. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a curious newcomer, the exhibition provides an opportunity to discover new artists and explore a dynamic, ever-changing landscape of creativity.

PIGSY’s Participation in PIÑA 2025

In this edition, I am exhibiting one painting. While it is a single piece among many, its presence contributes to the collective conversation at the heart of PIÑA. That, for me, is the power of this exhibition: each artist’s work becomes part of a shared visual dialogue.

This marks another chapter in my ongoing relationship with La Casa Amarilla Cultural Center and Gallery. Since 2020, I’ve participated in previous PIÑA editions and have held solo shows at the gallery. Being included again reflects the continuing creative connection between Ireland and Spain that fuels my work.

PIGSY

Fascinated by the human psyche, I confront the beasts gnawing at my mind through gestural painting. As a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, my work is a deconstruction process, delving into subconscious layers with every stroke. By capturing these spontaneous moments I attempt to repair inner scars.
